coming up for air

Last week was a huge one....the 6 week painting workshop finished, we celebrated our sons 12 birthday and my hubby had 3 wisdom teeth removed. Today feels like the first day in a long time that I have come up for air....

The girls really poured their heart and soul into the paintings they created. This technique is about using canvas, beads and paint to create dimensional flowers.

We finished up our time with some practical knowledge of how to string the canvas's, how to seal them and care for them once they are on the wall to help them have longevity.

Here are some of the finished products. Sorry Kate and Kaye, didn't get photos of yours....believe me they are just as amazing as these!

I have some snap shots of the Christmas Cheer workshop held on the weekend. Shall share tomorrow, in between packing boxes! 6 sleeps to go.....

What a wonderful experience these ladies have had and great that you could share knowledge on how to care for and present you art!

Take care,

Oh my goodness Nic! What wonderful art your ladies created. I am sure they bloomed under your tender care. I love the tree too!

Impressed by the nteresting multi coloured/patterned shapes surrounded by misty whiteness, in painting by Kaye the tree by Linda. Also the highlighted blue "samurai sun" shape over multi coloured background, by Claire.
