Let the Love In...

"align",centrre>.fabric tags

On the weekend I am teaching a Creative Journaling Workshop in a private studio with a number of amazing local women. They are putting on their creative hats for the day, brushes, scissors and paints in hand. I am so proud of these ladies already.....I'm not sure whether any of them have tried visual journaling before, so I am in admiration for the trust they are placing in themselves and me.I'm sure they with be like sponges and I have so much to share with them... Huge thanks already to my ladies.

Yesterday I put these fabric tags together to take to the workshop. I loved sewing the paper and fabric and lace collections together. Reminded me of when I used to sew paper on my little red Singer.

What beautiful tags - and I love the photo, wish my desk was this clean and co-ordinated.

As one of those lucky ladies blessed to have spent the day with you, I have to say a huge thank you Nic. I had the best day and am thrilled that the statement of intent I made to myself at the start of the day to 'find the creativity within' was well and truely achieved. I had no idea this creative soul was there all the time.

Lover love love your tags - they are so vibrant and pretty and I love the way you have layered all the bits! I wish I could be a bit looser when it comes to layering - I seem to instinctively tidy things up but I love the more spontaneous look!
