PODS

Ever heard the song 'From little things big things grow...?' Well this was certainly the case here. I found this beautiful, smooth pod..even had a little rattle in it. It evoked such beauty and really twinged a message to my heart. Nature is just amazing. I learnt so much from this tiny pod... I was drawn to it. I felt like I wanted to get to know the pod, so I drew and wrote about it in great detail in my journal. And then drew a more stylized or simplistic pattern of it. I was really taken in by it.

Not long after I painted it in a more abstract form. I'm not sure were the circles came from I went with it with out question. The message I got from this pod was a creative blessing and I realised how much I enjoy developing an idea from the beginning, not picking up a developed idea that I see else where and turn it into my own. Now I know that I'll definitely be honouring the joy in this process. Hooray!! Another piece to my creative puzzle!
