It’s taken me a couple of months to find the motivation to paint them. Louver doors x 6! Undercoat + a couple of top coats. It was definitely a challenge for the mind to work through. But I pushed through the resistance and the excuses. There was no easy way out…just do it!

painting and pushing through resistance
Another long weekend in Queensland and I was painting my heart. Not on a canvas, unfortunately, but sloggin’ it out in the garage. Do you remember these doors? Recycled from one on my hubby’s clients and they were lovingly made into cupboards for my studio.

O.K. you don't want to hear this right now, but I'll say it anyway. Why didn't you just spray paint them? That's how we freshen up our louver doors. Just prop them in the back yard against a tree and away you go.
Believe me Suzanne I would have gone with spray painting if I could have....the upside is that I really did learn a lot about mental mastery and pushing thro my own resistance. so for that, I am grateful!
yay! they look great! i totally know what you're saying about pushing through on those types of projects. so-great job! *back pat* :)
