i am at the gateway, passed through, leaving behind 2009 and looking at the bright shining light of 2010. and here i am at the gateway and entrance of our new home. the beginning of the year is always a welcoming sight, planning the year ahead, thinking, dreaming of what opportunities and possibilities are waiting.
i love this Buddha water feature in our front garden.the texture of his hair is irresistible to touch.contemplative...as am i of what i would love to reach for this year and how would i love to stretch myself....
many dreams and plans are transforming into words and thoughts ....and journal pages. one of the things i wold love to do straight up is to journal here everyday for the month of January. at the moment i feel i have lots of pics to share, so here goes...may this month be full of interesting creative news!

Happy New Year Nic. I am here in freezing cold London. Went to an art shop near Trafalgar Square tonight and bought some new supplies to do some more journaling. I too am being hit by the creative bug. Here's to a wonderful year ahead for you in your new home. Enjoy your studio. Lots of love.
