Waiting for the energy and a quiet moment was definitely worth it. Sometimes when I feel inspired to draw I like to be on my own...and that can be a challenge if the motivation comes when my kids are around. I don't seem to be able to focus quite like I can on my own, so rather than feeling frustrated I make the most of the time when they are at school. They still have their input though....my 10 year son christened this drawing as the 'croissant hair lady'. You just got to love them for their honesty.....
