Painting in the Kitchen- A Recipe for Success!

I've been painting in the kitchen of late, it's a little cooler there and I had the sewing machine set up, trying some new ideas with my art. And whilst I don't have as much space to spread out on my work bench, it makes a nice change.

I'm working on a painting at the moment, taking my time with it and really breaking down the process.. deciding at every stage "Do I LOVE this part of the process? And if not what can I do differently to love it?" I feel like I'm going back to basics, but I've made some really interesting discoveries and implementing some subtle changes....that I love. I have devoted 2 days to creating artwork for myself....... and it felt great, filling my soul with funand it has rekindled my passion for what I am creating.

I've recently taken on a couple of private students, one on one. I wasn't sure if I was cut out for teaching however it feels fantastic! And they are so brilliant! I've discovered that I love to guide others to dig deep to enable them to create an image that is meaningful to them... And I guess that is what Aha is all about for me. This is what Jude painted today in my kitchen.

Aha is scheduled for next Friday.. "I Feel". If you would love to experience an Aha Moment please contact me. We will be going on an adventure throught the use of Astrology symbols and their meaning, the application of harmonizing principles of Feng Shui, and the play of the heart through hands on art... Sound like fun? It is!

Here is an collage that Jude created at the last Aha Workshop of "I Think".
