the right path

I've been thinking all week about what to share with you. The pieces I'm creating are so new and developing that they need time to take root.Like any newly planted seed there is a huge amount of nurturing, effort and time that is needed for this tiny seed to start its growth....

so whilst I don't have any pics to share with you yet, I do have some heart encouraging experience to share.

I now know what it feels like to be on the right path. the things I've jotted down, the goals + dreams I'm envisaging are starting to twinkle with possibility. every time even the slightest doubt pops up, some form of confirmation heads my way. My dear arty friend Anna always said to me "Your style finds you". I never really got that until now. I just had to be quite enough to listen and patient enough for it to come to me.

it feels amazing.

I may not be posting here as often as I have in the past. But I'm busy in the studio and I shall have beautiful things to share. its going to be worth the wait....

I've been out of any type of social connection for the last few weeks and I'm so grateful to have my good health return. I have vowed + declared I shall never take my body for granted again!

But there is always a silver lining.... whilst I was sick I spent time in front of the computer, looking through mags and watching fashion on tv. and it totally inspired me. Looking back I can see that this was the only way I would actually stop and listen to my inner voice... and it spoke to me loud and clear.

It was like a download of information.

I got images of the products, ideas on how to market it, what the packaging looks like...the whole kit + caboodle. except the 'how to' make these goodies, I guess there are somethings I need to nut out myself.

so what can I say other than, watch this space! I shall practice bravery by following these messages without doubt.

There will be newness, some changes but as always, great arty pieces. It definitively feels like a new beginning. But it all fits with what I'm already creating, like a common thread, its pulling it all together.

Artistic Doll Swap

I'm not a doll maker, really, but I did enjoy creating this piece for a swap organized by Linda Baldock... sometimes its good to step outside of your comfort zone and feel challenged to create something new. This doll has a new loving home with Rob Keogh.
