Water Maiden

Water Maiden
Anna suggested that my portraits might work better with a soft wash of colour, to help connect her to the background....so I gave it a whirl. Kym, Anna and myself have a long history of openly sharing our thoughts about each others art. What do you think?

yes, yes! Now try one with a couple of 'kym glazes', some over the whole pic and maybe some over just the face... you can tell me to be quiet you know!

I actually like the whiteness of my girls faces and there are a number of glazes in the background....thanks for the suggestions though. (you can be quiet now)

She looks great. What media do you use? Sorry, very beginner question

Ha Ha Ha Anna, love it Nic, keep playing, both the glazing and the white faces have a place in history, I do like the way you have toned this, makes it warm and appealing, good scope to push on with what you learnt at Melbourne...love you both, and there is no point telling me to be quiet...lol hugs x

Love the sense her hair flowing with the water & bubbles. And my fave colour is blue, so of course love that too :)
