On the weekend we headed out on the boat...off for an adventure to celebrate the last few days of school holidays...we did some podding behind the boat, explored a sand island and fished for whiting. We were on the water for the best part of the day.....here are some pics for you to enjoy.
This star fish was on his back when we found him....we flipped him back on his tummy.

I remember those little sand balls... from those funny little crabs on the beach when I lived in Mackay! Such different treasures to be found in your neck of the woods.
Looks so warm and bright. Getting quite cool down here now. I think winter struck on Sunday. Very cold and bitter winds and rain...we had our first fire. I enjoyed that.

Oh, Podding is riding on a tube behind the boat.Ours is called a pod.....
