Kates bio is a good read...sharing how she loves to shop at thift shops for props and as a child used to set up Barbies with backdrops to photograph them... I remember cutting up scraps of fabric to make fashions that wrapped around my Barbies body, somewhat like a sarong and tied around her neck. with a matching head scarf.
