conscious of my purpose

Yesterday at school was amazing. I had a blast, and the kids responded really well. We did 4 activities and some great creations came together. I think the most amazing was the boys effort with the weaving.!A good time was had by all, and I came home on a bit of a creative 'high'. So much so that i sat down to paint. It's been a while since I've felt like painting, no need to resist this urge so I just went with it.

Some collage, gloppy paint in the corner, and I feel it might have some sort of stitched assemblage hanging with beads...something really feminine and divinely tactile. I have no doubt inspiration is on the way.

A few weeks ago I won this book through Stampingtons newsletter. just by being a subscriber and I got to pick my own prize, it was very cool! It has some fantastic journal inspiration ideas in it and has helped me get back into doing some journal pages. Last week I received some perceptual astrology information from Ashtara, her newsletter is awesome! (you can email her to join her mailing list) It really stuck a chord with me. and so it all came together...waking up ....

I felt so inspired by her words. And I read it often, like an affirmation. to help me remember to be conscious.

ps. I've had my first on line sale through my website! Some creative goodies are on their way to Violette in Canada. Way cool!
